In April of 1965, a group of dedicated horse lovers gathered in Osage County, Kansas, to create the Kansas State Horse Show Circuit (KSHSC). Since that time, the non-profit organization has held hundred of shows within a 60 mile radius of the Kansas City metro-area. They are governed by their Constitution Bylaws and Rule Book.

The purpose of the KSHSC is:

To educate people in the breeding, care, use, handling and development of horses and horsemanship.
To encourage good sportsmanship and proper conduct among horsemen/women and to foster good fellowship among all persons interested in horses.
To encourage proper and humane handling and care of horses, including preventing cruelty to animals.
To make horse showing available to all breeds and all levels of youth and adult riders.

KSHSC is a family-oriented show circuit with members of all talent levels and horses of all breeds. Membership and class fees are kept affordable so the “weekend show person” can afford their "addiction". Membership is not required, but points are tallied for KSHSC members and year-end awards are given.

We strive to maintain an encouraging friendly atmosphere and welcome new members to become part of our horse show family.
