We will start things off at 12:30 with a “What is the judge looking for?” clinic. We’ll hear from some experienced judges about what they want to see in the pen. We’ll get to see horses compared against one another and for ONCE we’ll hear what’s happening in that judges head! AND we’ll get to ask questions right there from the ringside. This should be a really informative clinic and an opportunity for all our members to increase their performance via education! Bring friends, family, and other members to learn at this free clinic! Don’t bring your ponies; this will be a watch-and-learn event.

The Spring Training Challenge will take on a new flavor this year as we bring in some English events and pay tribute to the 2010 World Equestrian Games being held in the USA this year. Competitors will still vie for the coveted ‘silver buckles’ as they rush through obstacles resembling a normal horse show for most of us. Plan on joining in the fun, or at least watching the hoopla!

In lieu of a sit-down potluck meal this year, we will be having more of a social with music, games, and yummy food.

Please bring either an appetizer or a dessert and your own beverages. Adult beverages are just fine. We will be providing the tableware.

As with most years, if you have horsey stuff that needs a new owner, bring it to swap or sell.
