The youth are holding a contest open to all KSHSC youth. The youth to raise the most sponsors, a minimum of 5 to qualify, cash or prizes per class will do, will win a $15 gift card to Walmart. Deadline April 23, 2009.  The youth will hold a meeting in Baldwin on Thurs, 4/23/09 at 6pm at either The Lodge or Pizza Hut. Please call me to confirm 913-908-4527. We will decide at that time if we will need to extend the contest for a few more days or be done. Everyone will be notified either way.

The meeting will cover the youth show and expectations for each of the youth to participate by working and learning one/or more of the many different responsibilities it takes to run the show. We will also make final decisions on our class awards. I would also like to ask everyone to be open to a request from the youth when they call to ask you to volunteer at this show. There will be a place for everyone to help and IT IS greatly appreciated! Without our VOLUNTEERS, we would not be able to put on our youth show!

Also, I am looking for a club or group that would like to host the concession stand for the youth show. If anyone is interested, please call me at 913-908-4527. Our final decision for the concession stand will be made on April 23, 2009, so you better hurry to get your club or group the assignment! Thanks to all for your help and interest!

Anyone who still wishes to reserve back numbers may call any youth to request their special number reserved for each show for only $10. You may design your number so it can be pinned to the back of your shirt or pinned to each side of your saddle pad. So, you will need 2 for the saddle pad. If you want help with your design, contact Erika Tanney, her store can provide you with pins, magnets and some advice on how to do the number too.
