| KSHSC Members, Youth Members, and Friends: Our KSHSC Annual Youth Horse Show will be held on Saturday, June 21st at the Douglas County Fairgrounds. This is a benefit show for our Youth organization to give scholarships to our graduating youth, and for the annual KSHSC King and Queen contest. There is lots of excitement brewing, great prizes and some new classes, we expect our show to have a large attendance, and the show is Double Judged-Double Points! |

| We are once again selling the right to use a certain back number for the season. If you had a number last year, we will hold it until the first show, after that it is up for grabs. Numbers are 1-100 and 500 and above. Please pay for your numbers before you use them. The cost is $10.00 for the season. Contact Raelynn to see what numbers are available. | |
| WE NEED VOLUNTEERS, SPONSORS & DONATIONS FOR THIS SHOW: Most Important: We need to have our kids sell sponsorships (a form is provided). We need to have our kids collect donations and contributions. We need the older kids to volunteer to help in the arena whenever possible. We need volunteers to hand out the prizes. |

King and Queen Candidates:It is time again for nominations for King and Queen Candidates. The rules of eligibility are in our “2008 Constitution, Bylaws and Official Rule Book”, Page B-10. Contact any youth director with your nomination. Deadline for entries is July 15, 2008. |

Stephanie Front Memorial Showmanship classAt the Youth Show, there is a memorial class in memory of Stephanie Frost for the kids 18 and under. If you are in the top 6 in your age group in showmanship for the year to date, you are eligible to enter and there is no class fee. There is a traveling trophy that the winner will keep until next year’s Youth show. |
